About us

Haywood Concrete Products Ltd. (HCP) manufactures precast concrete. Together with our affiliated companies and branches, we operate offices and manufacturing facilities in Haywood, Winnipeg, and Calgary. We are a growing, hands-on company with a solid team and a reputation for quality. As we grow, we're looking for a finance leader who wants to build things properly and be part of the next chapter.

What you'll do
Run month-end close and prepare accurate, timely financial statements
Manage AP, AR, payroll, and GST/PST remittances
Build budgets, cash flow forecasts, and job and product costing
Track inventory and production costs, and report on margins
Support year-end and tax work with our external accountants
Help select and implement our next accounting system (we currently use Sage 50, with an upgrade planned)
Strengthen processes and internal controls across all three offices




Provide explicit financial insight to ownership and operations leaders

What you bring
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing, construction, or distribution
Working knowledge of Sage 50 or similar accounting systems
Strong grasp of inventory and cost accounting
Comfort working across multiple locations
Explicit communication with owners and non-finance colleagues
A practical, problem-solving mindset

Nice to have
Experience with an accounting system or ERP migration
Background in precast, concrete, or industrial manufacturing

What we offer
Salary: $95,000 to $125,000+, based on experience
