Support safer agricultural workplaces as a Health and Safety Specialist with Cavendish Farms in Recent Annan, PE.

This position works closely with site leaders, supervisors, permanent employees, and seasonal teams across Farm Operations. You will provide practical guidance, monitor safety performance indicators, maintain compliance records in MyLearn, and improve programs, tools, systems, and work practices. Regular travel includes operating sites across PE, NB, and NS.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide safety guidance to leaders, supervisors, and employees
Monitor incidents, hazards, audits, training, and corrective actions
Maintain training, investigation, and compliance records
Update seasonal orientation materials and coordinate training




Identify improvements to safety programs and work practices

Requirements:
Three years of relevant operational health and safety experience
Post-secondary education in occupational health and safety or related field
Confidence raising concerns and recommending practical solutions
Microsoft Office proficiency and robust organizational skills
Ability to travel between operating sites as required

Use communication, follow-through, and safety management skills to strengthen Cavendish Farms' agricultural operations and employee practices.
