This Automation Engineer role advances automation, reliability, and operational excellence across BMO. You will develop scalable solutions with Ansible, ServiceNow, Python, and observability technologies. The position also provides technical leadership and guidance across enterprise functions and multiple lines of business.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and maintain automation solutions using Ansible and ServiceNow
Automate manual processes and reduce operational toil
Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, application, security, and architecture teams
Advise on automation, observability, and Site Reliability Engineering practices




Ensure solutions follow enterprise security policies and standards

Requirements:
Three to five years with Ansible, GitHub, and infrastructure automation
Experience scripting with Python, PowerShell, Bash, JSON, and YAML
Solid understanding of Site Reliability Engineering principles
Knowledge of instrumentation, telemetry, monitoring, and alerting
Solid Windows, Linux, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities
