Provide resident care as a Health Care Aide at AgeCare Walden Heights in Calgary, applying protected basic care skills under nursing supervision. This regular part time role offers 0.60 FTE employment.

As an HCA, you will collaborate with the care team and Licensed Practical Nurse to support resident comfort, well-being, and daily needs. Your work includes personal care, transfers, meals, routine treatments, and movement throughout the facility. AgeCare has served supportive communities for over 25 years.

Key Responsibilities:
Bath, shower, and wash residents using water temperature procedures
Assist transfers using lifts, transfer belts, and protective equipment
Feed residents and follow care-plan dietary instructions




Provide routine treatments under Staff Nurse direction
Accompany residents to dining, therapy, and recreation activities

Requirements:
Recognized PCA or HCA certificate course completion
Active CLHA registration
Fluent English communication, orally and in writing
One year continuing care experience preferred
Post-secondary education considered an asset
