Oversee CMHC mortgage portfolios for BC Housing from Burnaby, B.C., combining mortgage administration, compliance knowledge, and analytical judgment. This is regular, full time work.
As Manager, Mortgage Administrator, you will lead administration for CMHC devolved loans, takeout mortgages, social housing projects, and recent programs. You will guide inquiry management, reporting, stakeholder collaboration, and document review. The position requires knowledge of CMHC systems, processes, controls, and mortgage insurance practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer large CMHC-insured devolved and takeout mortgage portfolios
Review mortgage takeout and renewal security documents
Ensure mortgage statements, notices, and tender documents are accurate
Lead complex technical mortgage administration requests
Communicate process implications and considerations to management
Requirements:
Considerable experience resolving internal and external client issues
Experience leading mortgage portfolio administration teams
Knowledge of CMHC reporting, compliance, and insurance requirements
Knowledge of CMHC General Sub-Ledger and Certificate systems
Ability to analyze complex administration and improve decisions
Use CMHC mortgage portfolio leadership and compliance expertise to advance accurate administration for BC Housing’s programs.
