Support elementary students in French and English as a Special Education Technician at LASALLE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL - SENIOR CAMPUS each morning.

This 15-hour-per-week assignment runs five mornings weekly from 9:25 to 12:25. Working within teaching and multidisciplinary teams, you will apply special education techniques, supports, and adaptations. Students may have intellectual, learning, physical, autism spectrum, or behavior-related needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Support students with identified needs in classrooms
Implement individualized strategies, supports, and adaptations
Train students on learning and examination technologies
De-escalate difficult situations while maintaining student dignity
Conduct check-ins, recess monitoring,



and self-regulation teaching

Requirements:
Diploma or recognized equivalent in Special Care Counselling
Recent standard first aid and refresher certificates
Fluency in written and spoken French and English
Familiarity with French elementary programming and Google tools
Flexibility working with diverse student needs
