This Maintenance Mechanic maintains and repairs plant equipment while supporting special fabrication projects. Darigold values experience with sanitary welding, stainless steel, rotating machinery, production equipment, electrical motors, controls, hydraulics, and pneumatics. The work also includes ammonia refrigeration, boilers, preventive maintenance, CMMS systems, work orders, and technical drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete sanitary welding and stainless steel fabrication projects
Repair rotating machinery and production equipment
Troubleshoot electrical motors and controls
Repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Manage multiple priorities and maintenance work orders
Requirements:
Three to five years of related maintenance experience
Proven sanitary welding experience in plant settings
Ability to interpret P&ID; and electrical drawings
Understanding of preventive maintenance and CMMS systems
Formal related education preferred
