As an Adoption Coordinator, you will guide prospective adopters through applications, conversations, and matching decisions. You will balance sensitive discussions, competing priorities, and detailed records while collaborating with foster homes, pet stores, volunteers, veterinary staff, and AARCS teams. The role supports lasting matches between animals and families.

Key Responsibilities:
Process adoption applications within 48 hours, ideally sooner
Discuss applications with adopters and facilitate suitable matches
Arrange meet and greets with foster homes and pet stores




Maintain application statuses, notes, and records in PetPoint
Finalize adoptions, fees, microchips, and medical disclosures

Requirements:
Genuine interest in animal welfare and animal behaviour
Customer service experience with diverse people
Robust organization, time management, and attention to detail
Emotional resilience and sound problem-solving skills
High school diploma or equivalent
