Reporting to the Branch Manager, as the Production Manager, Wall Panels you will ensure wall panels are manufactured in an accurate, efficient, and secure manner. You coordinate with all Star divisions to oversee the onsite field installation process of wall panels, floors and trusses to achieve a complete framed structure. Developing, supervising, and providing guidance to Production and Field team members. Partnering with the Branch Manager to implement and support our in-field assembly teams, providing training and guidance on proper installation techniques to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and adherence to Star Standards. Promoting safe work environment and ensuring compliance with environmental health and safety programs. Maintaining feedstock materials and inventory levels, including demand forecasting. Screening incoming orders, determining production time required and planning production schedules accordingly. Updating performance to the production schedule and adjusting as variables change. Providing pre
- and post-sale technical support and consultation for customers. Liaising with customers, Sales and Production staff to resolve production issues in a professional and timely manner.



Monitoring in-process job flow to identify and rectify bottlenecks or other wall panel and field production issues. Providing onsite feedback of designs and assembly and hands-on assistance in the production yard and the shipping/lumber department, as required. A creative problem solver; you attract, retain, develop or improve the skills of others through effective coaching and guidance. High School Diploma, or equivalent. Minimum 3 years of production or manufacturing management experience. Satisfactory verification of criminal record check and driver’s abstract. Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint and PowerPoint). A construction and framing background are a strong asset. Staying current with technical job skills. You primarily work on site during regular business hours. Overtime may occasionally be required. Star Building Materials is an independent, wholly owned division of Qualico.
