As a Facilities Attendant, you will assist with building maintenance and respond to facility-user inquiries. Duties include ice flooding support, housekeeping, participant supervision, and emergency procedures. The position requires customer service, verbal communication, and physical work.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist ice flooding by moving nets and clearing snow
Clean and fill the ice resurfacer with water
Sweep, mop, and clean facility areas
Respond to public and facility-user inquiries
Supervise public skating and shinny participants
Requirements:
High school diploma preferred
Emergency Procedures, First Aid, or WHMIS training
Janitorial, arena, or pool experience preferred
Verbal communication and customer service skills
Availability for evenings and weekends
