Edmonton Opera seeks Production Assistants for upcoming productions, events, and sourcing activities. You will work under the Head of Wardrobe, Head of Props/Paint, and Head of Scenic Carpentry. The work includes materials, facilities, events, rehearsals, shipping, receiving, and warehouse tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with mainstage productions and rehearsals as required
Source and acquire set and costume build materials
Organize facilities, supplies, and department workspaces
Support special events and audience outreach activities
Complete shipping,



receiving, errands, and warehouse duties

Requirements:
Technical theatre diploma or degree from a post-secondary institution
Class 5 driver’s license and suggested access to a vehicle
Knowledge of secure working practices and deadline flexibility
Ability to lift 30 pounds, climb, and stand for long periods
Ability to operate a small audio system for community events
