Use diagnostic ultrasound expertise in Alberta Health Services’ Cardiology program at Red Deer Regional Hospital. This casual position covers assigned days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Diagnostic Sonographer I responsibilities include delivering standardized and complex ultrasound services for disease diagnosis and tracking. Collaboration with Radiologists, Cardiologists, Perinatologists, and other medical staff may be required. Provide high-quality service within Cardiac Diagnostic Imaging Explain procedures and obtain diagnostic-quality images Completion of an accredited ultrasound program extended diploma Computer skills using Microsoft Office applications Familiarity with Intellispace, Philips Epiq ECHO, and Cardiology PACS Support cardiac diagnosis and patient safety through ultrasound imaging, clinical collaboration, and effective decision making at Red Deer Regional Hospital. #
