As an Apprentice Automotive Technician, you will complete maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs across dealership vehicles. The work includes brakes, engines, electrical systems, steering, suspension, emissions, exhaust, cooling, and climate control. You will document inspection findings and present them to the Service Advisor.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform oil and filter changes and tire services
Complete multi-point vehicle inspections and record required items
Present inspection findings to the Service Advisor
Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicle systems
Test components using computerized diagnostic tools and other devices
Requirements:
Traditional Apprenticeship or Motive Power graduate
Oil change and tire service experience considered an asset
Basic computer skills and shop experience preferred
Valid Canadian driver's license and protected driving history
Ability to lift heavily, stand long periods, and use equipment
