Provide geriatric consultation in Comox with Island Health, supporting outpatient and inpatient services through multidisciplinary clinical practice.

The Vancouver Island Health Authority Division of Geriatrics seeks a part time Geriatrician based in Comox. You will support a robust service alongside 15 Geriatricians and Care of the Elderly physicians. The work includes specialized geriatric services, nurse practitioners, and clinical teaching.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide outpatient geriatric consultations
Provide inpatient geriatric consultations
Rotate through select specialized geriatric services
Work with dedicated multidisciplinary teams
Support undergraduate and postgraduate clinical teaching

Requirements:
FRCPC qualification or Care of the Elderly qualification
Ability to provide clinical support within geriatrics
Capacity to work with multidisciplinary teams
Availability for a part time appointment
Willingness to work in Comox
