Reporting to the Food Store Manager, this Food Clerk supports a clean, organized, and well-stocked grocery workplace. Responsibilities include ordering, receiving, stocking, rotating, and merchandising products. The position also requires food safety, sanitation, customer assistance, membership education, and inventory support.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide friendly, helpful grocery department customer service
Stock shelves, rotate products, and ensure placement
Receive and unload deliveries accurately
Maintain clean aisles, storage, and displays
Assist inventory counts and merchandising plans
Requirements:
At least 15 years old and Grade 9 completed
Previous grocery or retail experience is an asset
Lift up to 50 pounds regularly
Solid customer service and communication skills
Full weekday and weekend availability
