Fisher Wavy Inc. seeks a skilled Truck and Coach Technician for full time, permanent work supporting Northern Ontario operations. You will inspect mechanical units, diagnose faults, prioritize repairs, and communicate findings with supervisors. The work includes scheduled maintenance, road testing, system adjustments, cost estimating, customer service, and apprentice instruction.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect mechanical units and motors to locate faults
Repair or replace truck, automotive, and trailer components
Test repaired systems to manufacturer specifications
Complete work reports documenting problems and repairs
Coach apprentices and advise customers on repairs
Requirements:
Minimum five years repairing heavy equipment or commercial vehicles
Valid G class Driver’s License
Solid safety and teamwork commitment
Ability to prioritize operational tasks with minimal supervision
Successful completion of required third-party testing
