Christie Ossington Neighbourhood Centre is preparing to operate its Warming Centre during the upcoming cold-weather season. This unionized Cleaner maintains shelter spaces, washrooms, shared areas, and supplies. The work also includes front-line support and responding to changing operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Complete daily and scheduled cleaning of shelter spaces
Clean washrooms and shared areas throughout the Centre
Remove waste and dispose of garbage, recycling, and compost safely
Monitor maintenance issues and report them to the Manager
Respond to spills and other cleaning needs

Requirements:
Experience in maintenance and cleaning
Understanding of W.H.M.I.S., fire safety, and universal precautions
Robust attention to detail and communication skills
Ability to work in physically demanding, variable conditions
Respect for working with vulnerable populations
