This Health Care Aide assignment serves WRHA Community Health Services at Access St. Boniface. You will deliver care independently or within a team while responding to simultaneous demands. The in-person position includes travel between client homes, shift work, and weekends.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver personal care safely and effectively
Maintain client comfort, privacy, and respect
Travel between clients’ homes as required
Handle equipment weighing 10 to 20 kilograms
Seek assistance when working independently
Requirements: Successful completion of recognized Health Care Aide training
Ability to apply critical thinking skills
Effective English communication, oral and written
Ability to work shifts and weekends
Required abuse registry and criminal record checks
Bring dependable home care support, organized workload management, and compassionate communication to WRHA clients throughout Winnipeg.
