Use commercial cleaning experience and janitorial machinery to care for WoodGreen properties as an onsite Cleaner in Toronto, Ontario.
Reporting to the Manager, Housing & Homelessness Services, & Maintenance, this Cleaner supports daily building operations. The work includes public areas, offices, garbage chute rooms, grounds, and assigned spaces. You will also follow safety policies, handle supplies, and protect property.
Key Responsibilities: Perform routine and emergency cleaning across WoodGreen buildings
Vacuum, mop, and clean public areas and offices
Handle supplies, including heavy lifting when required
Set up meeting rooms for organizational events
Follow schedules, policies, directions, and safety standards
Requirements: High School Diploma
Commercial or residential cleaning experience
Robust written and verbal English communication skills
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
Comfort operating janitorial machinery and tools
Support clean, compliant properties through dependable janitorial work, equipment care, and responsive service for residents and staff.
