This contract position suits candidates experienced with lift trucks and industrial environments. Daily work includes loading trucks, cleaning machines, delivering parts, and maintaining shop areas. Heavy equipment operation and a mechanical background are considered assets, while forklift certification is required.
Key Responsibilities: Support daily operations in the material handling shop
Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment
Steam clean heavy equipment and machines
Deliver parts and maintain clean shop areas
Help with general labour and building maintenance
Requirements: Previous lift truck operating experience is required
Industrial setting experience is required
Valid Class 5 licence with clean abstract
Comfort with physical work and lifting 50 pounds
Ability to follow instructions and monitor surroundings
