The Shift Manager I assists the General Manager and other branch leaders with tactical restaurant management. You will oversee associate activities, contribute hiring input, and help maintain staffing throughout operating periods. The position requires varied rotating schedules covering openings, busy dayparts, and closings.
Key Responsibilities: Assist management with day-to-day associate supervision
Provide input on hiring, advancement, promotion, and status changes
Assign activities and participate in preparing schedules
Ensure associates take mandated rest breaks and meal periods
Operate registers, void transactions,



and secure cash properly
Requirements: Two years minimum food and beverage experience
Two years minimum cash handling and customer service experience
Six months minimum supervisory or lead restaurant experience
Ability to work diverse opening, busy-period, and closing shifts
Understanding of applicable sanitary, safety, health, and HACCP procedures
Bring scheduling, associate supervision, and cash handling experience to help HMSHost maintain consistent quick-service restaurant operations.
