Bethany Care Society seeks a Health Care Aide for Long Term Care A2 at Bethany Collegeside. You will support residents, families, volunteers, and team members within your scope of practice. The work emphasizes dignity, independence, privacy, documentation, and responsive care aligned with resident care plans.
Key Responsibilities: Assist residents with activities of daily living
Promote resident choices, dignity, privacy, and independence
Document and report care observations to nursing staff
Monitor holistic physical, psychological, spiritual, social, and emotional needs




Follow safety and emergency preparedness procedures
Requirements: Grade 10 education and approved Health Care Aide certificate
Registration with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta
Previous Health Care Aide experience preferred, not required
Effective English speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension
Strong observation, communication, and problem-solving skills
Support Bethany residents through compassionate daily living assistance, accurate documentation, safety practices, and effective communication in Red Deer.
