Provide practical nursing services at Misericordia Health Centre in Winnipeg, using clinical judgment and prescribed treatment administration. This full time position works in person across days, evenings, and weekends.
Under the Manager, Health Services, the Licensed Practical Nurse supports designated patients on the MP - 3rd Floor. Duties include independent nursing, care coordination, discharge participation, and healthcare team collaboration. The position requires current Manitoba registration, IV certifications, communication, and critical thinking skills.
Key Responsibilities: Provide professional practical nursing services to designated patients
Administer prescribed medical treatments according to requirements
Collaborate and interact within the healthcare team




Participate in patient care coordination and discharge
Demonstrate the region's vision, values, goals, and objectives
Requirements: Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nursing Education program
Maintain active College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba registration
Hold IV Therapy and IV Medication Administration certification
Meet employer CPR training requirements
Demonstrate communication, prioritization, delegation, and problem-solving skills
Support patient care at Misericordia Health Centre through practical nursing, treatment administration, collaboration, and discharge coordination.
