Support Traine's multi-family construction team by operating equipment, coordinating deliveries, and keeping Whitby job-site materials organized and accessible.
As an Equipment Operator, you will help build a new wood-frame rental community in Whitby, Ontario. Reporting to the Site Superintendent, you will manage material movement, inspect deliveries, maintain storage and access areas, and support trades as required. The position requires telehandler or zoom boom and skid steer experience, along with safe operating practices and construction knowledge.
Key Responsibilities: Manage deliveries and distribute incoming materials safely
Inspect materials and maintain accurate delivery records
Report shortages, damage, or incorrect materials promptly
Read plans, drawings, and specifications for accurate placement




Maintain organized storage areas, routes, and work areas
Requirements: Construction equipment operating experience, preferably residential or commercial
Telehandler and skid steer certifications preferred at hire
Ability to read site plans, drawings, and specifications
Mechanical aptitude for inspections and minor maintenance
Robust organization, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
Use equipment knowledge, material coordination, and construction planning skills to help maintain productive operations at Traine's Whitby site.
