Specimen processing and accurate data entry define this full time contract position with Dynacare in Brampton, Ontario. Work 100% on site.

As a Laboratory Assistant, you will process specimens, enter requisitions or results, and complete required quality control checks. The 12-month contract runs Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 6 PM EST, with rotational weekends and a lieu day. You will follow laboratory protocols while supporting timely downstream solutions and treatment.

Key Responsibilities:
Follow established specimen processing protocols
Identify, label, and enter data for all samples
Handle unsuitable samples according to established protocols
Address client inquiries professionally and courteously




Complete required quality control checks and standards

Requirements:
Secondary-school education and recognized Medical Laboratory Assistant training
Skilled customer-focused service experience
Ability to self-manage, prioritize, and collaborate
Intermediate Outlook, Word, and Excel proficiency
Laboratory procedure knowledge for troubleshooting and recommendations
