This permanent Building Maintenance Technician role keeps facilities functional, clean, and welcoming. Reporting to the Manager, Properties and Incubation, you will coordinate activities across specialized space and support resident clients, tenants, contractors, and service providers. Practical building experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities: Respond promptly to facility-related maintenance requests
Inspect and maintain cleanliness, safety, and appearance
Assist event and meeting room setups
Coordinate contractors and external service providers
Update facility records and operational documentation
Requirements: Three to five years' experience performing building maintenance duties
Experience working with the public
General maintenance and janitorial practice experience
Protected work practices and Occupational Health and Safety knowledge
Organization, scheduling, and troubleshooting abilities
Bring practical repairs, facility coordination, and client service capabilities to Invest Nova Scotia's specialized properties.
