As a Food Service I with Alberta Health Services, you will support Patient Food Services within the Nutrition Food Service team. The work includes basic food preparation, meal service, sanitation, and routine tasks completed under established standards and procedures. Your contributions support patients, residents, staff, visitors, and the community through nutritious, high quality meals.
Key Responsibilities: Package and portion food items according to established procedures
Prepare food using set guidelines and menus
Serve meals to patients and customers
Clean and sanitize equipment, dishes, tables,



and serving areas
Perform routine Patient Food Services tasks
Requirements: Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent
Ability to lift food, supplies, and equipment up to 46 pounds
Ability to push and pull meal carts up to 250 pounds
Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift
Satisfactory criminal record check or Vulnerable Sector Search
Support Alberta Health Services meal service through food preparation, serving, sanitation, and patient-focused customer care.
