Recovery Alberta seeks a Registered Nurse for temporary part time Correctional Health Services at the Remand Centre. You will provide nursing services to patients, families, communities, and populations while promoting safety and well-being. The work includes teaching, counseling, advocacy, and holistic care.
Key Responsibilities: Provide nursing services to patients, families, and communities
Use critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making
Teach, counsel, and advocate for patients and families
Support integrated, holistic patient care and health promotion
Reflect Recovery Alberta’s shared vision and values
Requirements: Completion of an accredited nursing education program
Active or eligible CRNA registration and practice permit
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Health Care Provider certification
Addiction and Mental Health experience
Understanding of the Mental Health Act and CTO
Bring nursing judgment, patient advocacy, and safety-focused care to Correctional Health Services at Red Deer Remand Centre.
