As a Spare Driver, you will collect and transport waste or recyclables from assigned residential routes to GFL facilities. The work combines truck operation, hydraulic systems, manual loading, route standards, and public-facing professionalism. Accurate service records are also required.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect solid waste and recyclables on specified residential routes
Manually load recyclable waste into collection vehicles
Operate side-load and hydraulic collection systems

Requirements:
Class 5 licence with Air Brake Endorsement
Class 3 licence preferred
Ability to operate trucks and equipment safely
Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry fifty pounds repetitively
Open availability for dispatch seven days weekly
