This Registered Practical Nurse provides professional nursing care to residents according to medical requirements and professional practice. Working with the Registered Nurse, you implement AgeCare policies, communicate resident changes, and coordinate care. The position requires knowledge of long-term care nursing and applicable legislation.
Key Responsibilities: Provide professional nursing care to residents
Implement AgeCare policies and procedures with the Registered Nurse
Liaise with physicians and healthcare team members
Direct Personal Support Workers on the care team




Participate in shift reports about resident status changes
Requirements: Knowledge of geriatric, rehabilitation, or long-term care nursing
Understanding of activation, nursing, and personnel administration
Knowledge of applicable healthcare legislation and regulations
Current College of Nurses of Ontario Certificate of Competence
Membership in positive standing with the College of Nurses
Bring long-term care nursing knowledge, clinical communication, and team direction to residents at AgeCare Trilogy in Scarborough.
