Practice hospital pharmacy at University of Alberta Hospital and Stollery Children’s Hospital, using medication management and clinical assessment skills. This regular full time position includes rotating shifts.

As a Pharmacist I with Alberta Health Services, you will support secure, effective, and appropriate medication use. You will manage therapy, assess drug-related issues, and optimize therapeutic outcomes. The work involves interdisciplinary collaboration, patient rounds, and individualized care for patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:
Assess patients for medication-related issues
Develop comprehensive medication management plans
Review and verify medication orders
Participate in patient care rounds




Oversee pharmaceutical compounding and packaging activities

Requirements:
Entry-to-practice Bachelor of Science or PharmD degree
Current, provisional, or transferable Alberta pharmacist registration
Computerized medication order entry experience
Effective English communication and patient confidentiality
Robust critical thinking and problem-solving skills
