The City of Mississauga seeks a Registered Veterinary Technician for its Animal Care & Well-Being team. This permanent role supports shelter medicine, population wellness, disease prevention, and humane care. You will work with veterinarians, staff, volunteers, and community partners in a public-service workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct physical and behavioural assessments using low-stress handling
- Perform intake examinations and prioritize medical needs

Requirements:

- Registered Veterinary Technician in good standing with CVO and/or OAVT
- Three to five years of veterinary technician experience
- Knowledge of animal health assessment and nursing care
- Valid Class G Driver’s Licence in good standing
- Current rabies vaccination and annual titre verification
