AlgaeCal seeks a commercially minded junior lawyer for its legal team. You will support eCommerce, marketing, and consumer health activities through contract review, regulatory research, and practical recommendations. The work helps protect customers, brands, and business decisions.
Key Responsibilities: Draft and review commercial agreements for business priorities
Identify risks in indemnities, warranties, and liability provisions
Research regulatory questions and explain practical options
Review marketing copy, packaging, and product initiatives




Handle demand letters calmly and thoughtfully
Requirements: Juris Doctor, Bachelor of Laws, or equivalent qualification
One to two years’ in-house or comparable commercial experience
Ability to explain complex legal issues in plain English
Understanding of FDA, FTC, advertising, privacy, and licensing requirements
Accuracy, discretion, sound judgment, humility, and willingness to learn
Bring commercial judgment, explicit communication, and practical legal advice to help AlgaeCal grow responsibly while managing business risk.
