This Operator position supports assigned routes across a solid waste company serving Recent Brunswick and Nova Scotia. The work requires commercial driving, equipment inspections, communication, and safe material handling. Operators maintain vehicles and complete route paperwork.
Key Responsibilities: Drive side-load tandem trucks safely on assigned routes
Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip truck inspections
Coordinate departure and return times with Dispatchers
Load and unload heavy materials, tools, and equipment
Report maintenance needs, infractions, and completed paperwork
Requirements: Valid commercial driver’s license with clean driver abstract
Class 3 license with air brake in good standing
Ability to operate required equipment safely and responsibly
Ability to lift 20 to 75 pounds regularly
Waste, recycling, or residential collection experience preferred
