Advance electrical hardware development at SCIEX in Concord, Ontario, using soldering and test equipment on-site. Support research-grade hardware qualification and rapid prototyping.
As an Electrical Engineering Technologist, you will assist Electrical Designers and Engineers within SCIEX’s MS Hardware Development team. Your work will support electronic component evaluation, prototype preparation, and engineering-grade testing. The position reports to the Manager, Electrical Hardware Development Operations.
Key Responsibilities: Evaluate electronic component suitability and availability with design teams
Generate component BOMs for procurement activities
Prepare electronics kits for rapid prototyping
Maintain laboratory stock, registration, organization,



and calibration upkeep
Test, debug, and repair electrical modules and circuits
Requirements: Electrical Engineering Technologist diploma or equivalent
Robust hands-on experience in research-grade environments
Proficiency with cable harness assembly and soldering
Experience using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and function generators
Knowledge of custom electronics test setups
Apply electrical development, soldering, and test fixture skills to support SCIEX hardware qualification in Concord.
