Teach Senior Culinary Technology with Durham District School Board, delivering curriculum-aligned lessons and supporting student learning. This permanent position is full-time at 1.0 FTE.
As a Permanent Teacher, you will guide Grade 11 students through the TFJ3C course while fostering a positive, inclusive classroom. You will assess progress, provide feedback, collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community, and adapt methods for diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities: Develop engaging curriculum-aligned Culinary Technology lessons
Deliver instruction supporting Grade 11 student learning
Assess progress and provide feedback for student growth
Create positive, inclusive classroom environments
Adapt methods and materials for diverse student needs
Requirements: Senior Culinary Technology qualifications
Ontario teaching certificate in positive standing
Grade 11 teaching assignment experience or qualification
SHSM experience is an asset
Current vulnerable sector criminal background check upon hire
