Operate 35T and 55T Tadano RT cranes on upcoming projects in Phoenix’s Nisku Mod yard. Complete checks, lifting, transport, and safety duties.

This full-time, fixed-term Crane Operator position supports Phoenix, an Alberta-based family-owned industrial contractor. The work requires heavy equipment operation, material handling, communication equipment use, and routine maintenance. Operators help maintain protected, orderly work areas while following Phoenix safety policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate 35T and 55T Tadano RT equipment safely
- Conduct pre-operational, daily safety, and maintenance checks
- Load, transport, unload, and deliver heavy materials
- Secure cargo using ratchet straps, chains, and binders
- Report hazards and maintain clean work areas

Requirements:

- Valid driver’s license
- CSTS-09 or CSTS-20 and WHMIS 2015
- Fall Protection certification
- Heavy equipment operating or construction experience
- Successful completion of pre-access drug and alcohol testing
