Reporting to the Business Centre’s Manager, this Service Technician provides customer support in house and through mobile service. The work covers SCBA and gas detection certification, breathing air compressor maintenance, Quantitative Fit testing, and fall arrest equipment inspection. Manufacturer specifications and local standards guide each service.
Key Responsibilities: Manage, test, repair, and recertify customer equipment
Complete SCBA and gas detection certification services
Maintain breathing air compressor systems
Inspect and certify fall arrest equipment
Arrange customer authorization for work orders
Requirements: Qualified, courteous demeanor and attention to detail
Troubleshooting and excellent organizational skills
Fluent spoken, written, and reading English
Valid Class 5 driver’s license
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds periodically
Support customer safety through equipment certification, troubleshooting, repairs, and accurate service delivery across Grande Prairie operations.
