This permanent full time Pharmacist position serves patients at Halifax Infirmary’s Central Zone departments. Under the Clinical Pharmacy Manager, you will provide evidence-based care while collaborating with an interprofessional team. The work includes medication reconciliation, patient education, interdisciplinary rounds, and responses to drug information questions.
Key Responsibilities: Provide evidence-based direct patient care activities
Support medication safety and effective therapeutic outcomes
Respond to interprofessional drug information questions
Liaise with community pharmacies when required




Participate in clinical quality improvement and research
Requirements: Recognized pharmacy degree and eligible Nova Scotia registration
Basic Life Support certification
Medication patient safety therapeutics knowledge
Critical appraisal of scientific literature experience
Multidisciplinary healthcare teamwork and communication experience
Bring hospital pharmacy experience, medication safety knowledge, and clinical research capability to patient care at Halifax Infirmary.
