Canada Post seeks a Plant Operations Supervisor in Red Deer to direct mail flows, workforce deployment, safety, and service commitments.
This full time, permanent supervisor manages manual processing for all classes of mail on an assigned shift. You will supervise, coach, and guide employees while maintaining a respectful workplace. The work also includes staffing processes, attendance management, labour relations consultation, reporting, and communication with operational support groups.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate mail movement with other operational functions
Assign available employees across areas as volumes fluctuate
Administer staffing, performance, disability, and attendance processes
Maintain SAP records for volumes, time,



and leave
Communicate updates and results regularly with team members
Requirements: High school diploma or accepted equivalent experience
Minimum one year of team management experience
Alternatively, two years in a unionized workplace
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office major features
Post-secondary education is considered an asset
Use people leadership, labour relations awareness, SAP administration, and mail coordination skills in Canada Post plant operations.
