Apply FCAW and SMAW expertise as a Welder with Victaulic in Brampton, Ontario, working full time onsite on the day shift.
This Welder position fabricates pipe products, primarily from carbon steel and stainless steel. You will set up fixtures, operate welding equipment, inspect welds, and correct defects. The work requires technical drawing interpretation, accurate records, and disciplined safety practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Weld carbon steel pipe using FCAW and SMAW
Complete stainless steel welds using SMAW procedures
Set up fixtures and rotating welding equipment
Inspect, clean, and repair weld defects
Complete traceability stamps, records, and material tags
Requirements:
CWB or TSSA certification
Five or more years in pipe fabrication
FCAW proficiency for carbon steel
SMAW proficiency for carbon and stainless steel
Ability to interpret technical drawings and use tools safely
