Support adult, pediatric, trauma, and transplant patients as an Acute Care Emergency Nurse at Edmonton’s U of A Hospital. Apply concise clinical judgment on rotating shifts.
AHS seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for its 24-hour, tertiary care Level I Emergency Department. The work spans complex medical presentations, high-acuity trauma, transplant cases, and varied emergency needs. You will use critical thinking, assessment, organization, communication, and decision making within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities: Provide nursing services to patients, families, and communities
Apply nursing processes through critical thinking and problem solving
Communicate findings concisely and accurately




Identify learning needs and seek professional practice guidance
Deliver patient and family centered care safely
Requirements: Minimum one year recent Medical/Surgical or Acute Care RN experience
Emergency RN experience preferred
CRNA registration and practice permit active or eligible
Current BCLS-HCP certification
Solid assessment, organization, and patient care skills
Use acute care experience, sound assessment, and concise communication to provide quality emergency nursing at U of A Hospital.
