The Municipal District of Spirit River No. 133 seeks a dependable Class 1 Driver / Heavy Equipment Operator for its Public Works team. Use highway tractors, trailers, excavators, wheel loaders, and utility vehicles. Support road construction, maintenance, repairs, winter operations, and municipal transit relief driving as required.
Key Responsibilities: Operate highway tractors, trailers, excavators, and wheel loaders safely
Transport gravel, materials, equipment, and municipal loads
Perform grading, ditching, culvert installation, and road repairs
Complete snowplowing, sanding, drift clearing,



and ice control
Inspect equipment and perform routine maintenance
Requirements: Valid Alberta Class 1 license with Air Brake Q endorsement
Grade 12 diploma and two years tractor-trailer experience
Heavy equipment and winter road maintenance experience
Acceptable Commercial Driver's Abstract with three-year driving record
Standard First Aid with CPR Level C or AED equivalent
