Serve customers and donors as a Thrift Store Associate at The Salvation Army in Orleans, using courteous service and retail operations skills.
This permanent full-time position supports ongoing retail operations at 4025 Innes Road, Orleans, Ontario. You will sort incoming donations, process merchandise, complete transactions, and maintain store presentation. The position reports to the Store Manager and serves guests, vendors, volunteers, and staff.
Key Responsibilities: Greet customers and donors positively, courteously, and respectfully
Complete cash and debit transactions accurately
Sort, price, hang, pack, and store donations
Replenish sales-floor inventory and maintain merchandise displays
Maintain clean, organized, attractive,



and protected store areas
Requirements: Willingness to support The Salvation Army’s mission and purpose
Compliance with OH&S; requirements and organizational safety policies
Ability to stand, twist, bend, crouch, and reach frequently
Ability to lift and move 30 pounds
Availability for weekdays and/or Saturdays as schedules vary
Use customer service, donation processing, transaction accuracy, and store-maintenance skills to support The Salvation Army’s Orleans operations.
