Apply HVAC inspection, maintenance, and repair expertise with the City of North Vancouver’s Civic Facilities Division. This auxiliary position serves municipal buildings.

As a Physical Plant Maintenance Worker 1, you will maintain heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems. The work includes preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, minor electrical and plumbing tasks, and direct digital controls. You will also respond to user complaints and maintain related records.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inspect municipal heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems
- Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and emergency repairs
- Perform minor electrical and plumbing repairs
- Respond to repairs arising from user complaints
- Prepare and maintain work-related reports and records

Requirements:

- Thorough knowledge of HVAC equipment functions and operations
- Working knowledge and experience with direct digital controls
- Technical courses related to the work
- Sound experience in building maintenance operations
- Valid Class 5 British Columbia Driver’s License
