As an Arborist Foreperson, you will lead multiple crews and equipment while delivering arboricultural care for clients. The position requires planning, sequencing, and executing assigned work safely. You will also provide specialized-job expertise, mentorship, training, and development oversight for team members.
Key Responsibilities: Lead multiple crews and equipment in arboricultural care
Manage district safety metrics and support protected operations
Plan, sequence, and execute assigned crew work
Mentor, train, and oversee team development
Operate cranes up to eight tons
Requirements: Three to five years of arborist experience
Three or more years supervising or leading
Certificate in crane operation up to eight tons
Valid provincial driver’s license required
Strong tree, knot, and shrub identification skills
Bring arborist experience, crew leadership, crane operation, and safety expertise to Davey Tree’s Victoria operations onsite.
