This temporary instructor position delivers non-credit, elementary-level Urdu language programming. Classes run every Saturday from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm, September through May. The instructor must be prepared to teach throughout the full program duration at B. Davison Secondary School.
Key Responsibilities: Instruct elementary school-aged learners in Urdu
Deliver non-credit language programming each Saturday
Maintain instruction throughout the complete program
Provide language education at B. Davison Secondary School
Requirements: Fluent Urdu speaking and writing skills
Secondary School graduation diploma
Teaching or instructing experience, paid or volunteer
Sensitivity toward cultural and sociological issues
Language instruction methodology knowledge considered an asset
Bring fluent Urdu, classroom experience, and cultural awareness to TVDSB’s elementary language instruction program in London.
