This General Helper position belongs to Student Housing & Hospitality Services and reports to a Dining Hall Supervisor or Chef. It is a temporary part time assignment running from August 22, 2026, through April 30, 2027. Schedules may include day, evening, night, and weekend work, up to 38.75 hours weekly.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain cleanliness of cooking utensils and equipment
Clean assigned kitchen areas as directed
Follow direction from Dining Hall Supervisors or Chefs
Work weekend schedules according to operational needs
Perform duties at designated McGill residence dining facilities
Requirements: High School Leaving Diploma
At least three months of related experience
Strong communication skills
English and French reading and writing ability
Willingness to work in Quebec with Canadian authorization
