Alberta Kidney Care - North is hiring a Service Worker I for its Rocky Mountain House Hemodialysis Unit. You will assist with hemodialysis machine setup, rinsing, dismantling, and maintenance under nurse supervision. The position also supports patient comfort, weighing, specimen delivery, equipment cleaning, and supply replenishment throughout the hospital. This temporary, part-time position pays CA$22.33-CA$24.38 hourly.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with hemodialysis machine setup, rinsing, dismantling, and maintenance
Transport patients and equipment between hospital care areas




Assist with weighing patients and maintaining patient comfort
Deliver specimens, blood products, and patient charts
Clean equipment and organize supplies and linens
Requirements: Grade 12 or equivalent
Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds
Positive communication, motivation, and organizational skills
Ability to work supervised and independently
Successful completion of required hemodialysis training
Bring communication, organization, and patient transport skills to the Rocky Mountain House Hemodialysis Unit as a Service Worker I.
