Use case management and pastoral care skills to support clients at The Salvation Army’s Belkin House in a permanent, full-time position.
This Caseworker and Chaplain role combines resident supervision with Christian-based care in a residential setting. Responsibilities include client assessment, intake, referrals, confidential case histories, Personal Development Plans, worship services, and programs supporting personal and spiritual well-being. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Key Responsibilities: Interview clients and maintain confidential histories, records, and statistics
Assess program suitability and refer clients to appropriate services
Orient new residents to Belkin House policies and expectations
Lead worship, Bible studies, outreach, and creative pastoral activities
Liaise with police, funders,



courts, families, and community agencies
Requirements: Two academic years’ post-secondary education in social services or related studies
Two years’ social service experience in case management or outreach
Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet navigation, and documentation proficiency
Mental Health First Aid and Naloxone training or willingness
Integrity, confidentiality, cultural responsiveness, and cooperative working ability
Bring compassionate casework, Christian ministry, documentation, and community-resource knowledge to client support at Belkin House.
